“She’ll be the first to admit that she’s not perfect. Her life’s a wreck, and the only thing holding her up is the hope that it’ll get better. She’s got some friends who would die for her, and she has friends that would kill her, given the chance. She has the mental stability of a psychiatric patient, and the constant drama that surrounds her doesn’t help. She’s lost all of the people she depended on, whether it be death, or betrayal. Despite everything that has happened to her, the reason she keeps hanging on is the hope that it will all get better.”

“Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life.”

“I’m thinking that sometimes you just have to make the decision to be happy. Just realize that things aren’t ever what you hoped they’d be. Not ever. For anybody. The only thing that separates one kind of person from another is that there are some who stay angry about it and there are some who accept what comes their way.”
